The C&C shop will open at 10 pm EST tonight (November 25th), with half of the available stock listed, and then the other half will be listed tomorrow (November 26th) at 1 pm EST. This restock will include a few new polishes! I will combine orders between the two restock times. Please allow 4-6 business days for your package to go out.

LH07
The next single-batch limited edition polish in the LH series is LH07. LH07 will only be stocked at the above times, but it will also be available through C&C stockists. This is the biggest batch of an LH polish to date (made in a two gallon container), and it is limited to ONE per customer.

 Après-ski
I have been craving some time on the slopes so I wanted to make a polish that would remind me of my favorite ski trips! Après-ski is made with white stars, circles, and hexes; powder blue and aqua hexes; and just a hint of white and aqua shimmer.

Silent Wings and Charmed

Dreaming of Dragons
Some nights, Chaos dreams that he is a fierce dragon, soaring through the sky. The first two polishes in the new Dreaming of Dragons series are Silent Wings, a copper to green flakie polish, and Charmed, a pinkish-purple to copper flakie polish. Both will be available as regular top coats (great for putting over a variety of colors), and heavy flakie polishes (meant to be worn on their own in 2-3 coats). Expect to see two more new colors available soon, and some additional polishes incorporating the flakies in the future. 

Secret Agent Collection
In addition to the new polishes, there will be a small restock of the Secret Agent Collection tonight.

The special missions have been postponed while I wait for something important to arrive, but they are still in the works. I am also working 2 new collections! :-)

Pre-Order Information
The shop will be open on Saturday, August 30th, 12-1 pm EDT and 9-10 pm EDT for a pre-order on Operation Vegas (LE); Echoes, Shadows, and Reflections; and the Secret Agent Collection. There will be a limit of one of each polish per customer.

The estimated turnaround time is 2-4 weeks, but please keep in mind that the actual turnaround time will depend on the number of orders that come in. If pre-orders aren’t your thing, you may want to wait until the next regular restock, or keep an eye on Mei Mei's Signatures and Norway Nails - they will be getting new shipments in September.

Operation Vegas
When I went to Las Vegas for Cosmoprof last month, I brought a top secret polish with me to recruit some new agents. By request, Operation Vegas will be available tomorrow, but it will be a limited edition polish. My plan right now is to only make it available as part of tomorrow’s pre-order, with a limited quantity going out to stockists later, but it is possible that it will be reactivated in the future.

Operation Vegas is a blackened red-purple holographic polish with additional multicolored sparkles and red shimmer. It will retail for $12.50 and come with a never before seen polish-exclusive 1-inch button.

Echoes, Shadows, and Reflections
Echoes, Shadows, and Reflections is a trio of jellies, each with 5 different holographic micro glitters/pigments that are very thin for extra sparkliness. Echoes is a magenta/red/berry color, Shadows is dark purple, and Reflections is blue. Each polish will retail for $10.50, but you can purchase all three together for $30. Each of these will come with one origami star for good luck.

Label Change
I do have one change that I wanted to let you know about - I have been testing a variety of labels (for the bottom of the bottle, where the name of the polish goes) and I have finally found *the one* to replace the current label. You will begin seeing these starting with the pre-order bottles. :-)

Mysterious Activity... Vaguely Explained?!?
C&C secret island headquarters issued a press release stating that at some point soon, there will be a series of extra special missions. These missions will be reminiscent of past events that do not happen all that frequently. More information will be revealed as it becomes available.

Mission Update

Restock Information
The shop will be up for a preview later tonight, and then will go dark around 2:45 pm EDT tomorrow to prepare for the restock at 3:00. This is not a pre-order, but there will be quite a bit of polish available. There will be a limit of 2 of each polish per customer, and the estimated turnaround time for order processing will be 5-9 days for everything except pre-packed collection sets (which will ship 1-2 days after the restock). Polish quantity ratios were based on the data from the pre-order, so hopefully you will be able to get the colors that you want. In the event that you are not able to successfully complete your mission, please keep in mind that I will start working to restock the collection again when I finish shipping, and I will also be getting more polish out to my stockists as soon as possible.

Shipping the Collection Box
If you are having the complete set shipped to someone to forward to you, please let them know that after they check to make sure everything arrived safely, it is very important to put the lid of the gold box back on firmly so that the polishes won't bump into each other and break during shipping. Alternatively, if you'd like me to pack the polishes individually in bubble wrap next to the gold box instead of inside it, I can definitely do that for you - just leave me a note when you check out.

Operation Pre-Order [Updated]

Welcome, Agents!
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to complete the Chaos & Crocodiles pre-order by visiting the C&C website on June 24, 2014 either between 1-2 pm EDT or 9-10 pm EDT. Since there are two times, you can choose the one that is more convenient for you. :-) After you successfully complete your mission, please allow 2-4 weeks for your order to be completed. Please begin your training for the mission by reading the following field notes.

International Intelligence
Both Mei Mei’s Signatures and Norway Nails will be getting a C&C shipment soon that will include the Secret Agent Collection.

C&C Updates
Have you noticed that the C&C bottles look a little bit different? The bottle style and flat brush are the same, but our logo will now be printed on the glass, and each bottle will come with a beautiful new rubberized cap. All polishes in the pre-order will come in the printed bottles with rubberized caps, and so will the shipments the stockists receive. Our ingredients list has been updated as well.

Pre-Order Polishes 
The site preview is up! Our cute little pinback buttons are back by request, and the new collection (including a listing for the entire set) is on the site. Soliloquy and Boardwalk Taffy Shop have a limit of one per customer - this includes if you purchased one at the last restock. I have also decided to put a two per customer limit on the other polishes in the shop to help make sure that everyone gets theirs in a timely manner. The Secret Agent Collection 

The collection contains 10 linear holographic polishes: Security Breach (red with yellow flakies and gold sparkles), Interrogation (coral-leaning orange), Subterfuge (gold with pink flakies and blue sparkles), Night Vision (light green), Cipher (blue-leaning teal), Sleeper Cell (blue), Reconnaissance (purple), Protocol (orchid/fuchsia with purple flakies), Black Ops (black with multi-colored shimmer), and Decoy (silvered lavender). These polishes will retail in the shop for $12.50 each.

Pre-Order Disclaimer
To prepare for the pre-order, I have acquired many supplies, and I have more on the way. However, in the event that I run out of supplies to make a certain polish and I can’t get more in quickly, I will contact you, refund your money, and give you the option to reserve the polish for when supplies become available again.

Staining
I have been working on the Secret Agent Collection since December, creating prototype after prototype. In the end, the formulas I chose for the collection had both optimal sparkle and opacity. I did a lot of testing to minimize staining, but there are some yellow pigments on the warm side of the rainbow. For this reason, I recommend using a base coat if you are concerned about stains.

The first swatches of the Secret Agent Collection will be coming from Debbie of Running with Lacquer and Valesha of Peachy Polish. Huge thanks to these two fantastic ladies!

Argh!

The restock today did not go very smoothly. :-/ There was a lot of glitching and overselling. If your order went through, please allow some extra processing time so that I can sort through everything. I will fulfill all orders that I can, however since I think that the single-batch polishes oversold, I will be in touch with the customers whose orders went in last about their options. Also, there is usually a ten minute cart hold on the site, so any cartjacking that went on was accidental. I promise I did not send any pirates after you. :-P

To hopefully make up for the problems from today, the next restock will be a pre-order and will include the new collection, everything from the restock (although please read the next paragraph about the two single-batch polishes), and maybe a few other returning polishes if I have time.

As for the single-batch polishes, I am going to see if I can get the supplies to offer a second batch for the pre-order. This is not something I would normally do, but I feel that what happened today was not fair - people who may have been first to put polishes in their cart did not necessarily get them.

I’m so, so sorry if you were inconvenienced in any way today. Please let me know if you have any thoughts, and hopefully I will see you again in the future for more polish. :-)

C&C News

I have decided to squeeze in a small restock before I launch the new collection, so the C&C shop will be open on Saturday, May 17th (time TBA). There will be some returning polishes, two new polishes for the regular lineup, one new limited edition, and possibly a few special surprises!

Today's Restock

The restock today will be at 3 pm EST. I'm working on getting everything set up on the site, so I hope you don't mind that I'm just going to do a quick announcement here! Today's polishes include two new LEs, the extra LH06 that I made, the Elevation/C&C duo, and some other restocked polishes. Please keep in mind that quantities of restocked polishes will be small this time because I am waiting on more bottles and labels, but I will restock again as soon as possible. The duo will not be restocked, but it will also be available in the Elevation Polish shop tonight. I hope you are as excited about the duo as I am! It was so much fun working with Lulu; she is such a wonderful person and an incredibly talented polish maker!
