Winter Collection Pre-Order Info (CLOSED)

Restocks are fun. It's like a sport where the goal is to see if you can grab the polishes you want. But they are also stressful and sometimes involve a good bit of chaos and disappointment (chaos is only good when it is accompanied by crocodiles, and disappointment is never good).

I will still be having a restock on December 9th, but since everything at the last restock sold so quickly, I have decided to try a pre-order as well so that you can shop without worrying about being cartjacked. I will be posting a link to the pre-order form on Facebook at 11:45 am ET today. This pre-order is for customers with US shipping addresses only (apologies to my international friends).

If you place a pre-order, you will get a PayPal invoice by Sunday, December 9th. I will start shipping paid orders on Tuesday, December 11th. Invoices that have not been paid by Tuesday will be canceled.

To give more customers the chance to get the polishes they want, I am limiting the pre-order polishes to one of each per customer. BUT you can still order additional polishes during the December 9th Etsy restock if you need backups or gifts. Oh, and there will also be some LEs and OOAKs at the restock. ;-) I am happy to combine shipping between the pre-order and restock.

Other things to note:

The free gift with orders over $15 still applies for this month.

Pre-order prices are a tiny bit lower than usual.

Prices listed on the form do not include shipping charges; they are the same as my regular shipping costs and will be shown on your invoice.

The pre-order will end when I have reached the number of orders I am comfortable making to get the polishes shipped out to everyone in a timely manner.

Restock News

The November restock is coming up fast (this Thursday!), and all of the winter polishes have been finalized. You can see the collection in the Winter 2012 Releases album. I will try to get Mountain Resort and Christmas Cupcake swatches posted on Wednesday.


Free Surprise Gift Alert!!!
In November and December, all orders of $15 or more (before shipping) will automatically receive a free surprise gift! I have the most wonderful customers ever, so this is my way of saying thank you for your support! :-)


Things to Note: 

• The shop will be open through Friday. Shipping turnaround time will depend on how many orders are placed on Thursday and Friday; I will provide general shipping status updates on Facebook and in my Etsy shop announcement.
• On Saturday, Chaos & Crocodiles will be making an appearance at a holiday festival in Havre de Grace, Maryland, so the shop will be put into vacation mode. It will reopen on November 23rd with any remaining stock.
• If you are planning on purchasing your polishes online and picking them up at the festival, please make sure to email or convo me after you place your order. Your shipping costs will be refunded after the festival.
• Christmas Cupcake, Home for the Holidays, and Death of a Snowman (both editions) will only be available in the November and December restocks.
• We will be sticking with the round bottle style, but will have new, more durable labels.
• Some polishes will have two mixing balls, while others will have one larger mixing ball. All balls are stainless steel and work the same way.

December Restock

Next month's restock will be earlier in the month to ensure that all polishes get to where they need to go in time for the holidays. The December restock will include some limited edition and OOAK polishes.

Please welcome the newest Chaos & Crocodiles polish to the line, Delighted! Delighted is a heartbreakingly beautiful polish made with various sizes of periwinkle, fuchsia, and purple glitter and a hint of purple shimmer in a clear base. It was love at first sight!

The fuchsia and purple glitter catch the light with a gorgeous glow and I just can't stop staring at my nails! This swatch shows 2 coats over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.

Dream Theory has an incredible mix of glitter (mostly holographic, but sadly my picture doesn't show how sparkly the polish is) in greens, blues, silver, and turquoise all in a teal-blue jelly base. It is limited to five full-size bottles - my bottle, two for the giveaway, and two that will be available for sale in the shop on my birthday.

Welcome!

Until recently, Chaos & Crocodiles news, updates, and pics have only been posted to Facebook and Twitter. But now that the shop has grown so quickly in the past few months (thank you!!!), I have decided that it is time to start a blog.

My hope is that this will make the flow of information easier to follow as well as give fans another way to connect. I've got some very exciting projects in the works and I can't wait to share them with you! ♥
